WOODTURNING: the craft of using the wood lathe with hand-held tools,
to cut a shape that is symmetrical. Wooden bowls are crafted out of one solid
piece of wood or a process called segment turning. Every bowl, cup, plate or
platter has a story around the axis of rotation.
